DIRECTIONS

DIRECTIONS TO LA BELLIEUSE AND LE DOUIT FROM THE AIRPORT

On leaving the Airport turn left, go straight through the next two sets of traffic lights, on reaching a T junction turn left and then immediately right which takes you down hill past St. Martins Parish Church. Keep going down the hill, on the right is La Blanche Pierre Lane – La Bellieuse Cottages are on the right hand corner of this junction. For Parking and Le Douit Farm keep going around the bend, without turning into La Blanche Pierre Lane, immediately on your left is Le Douit Farm, go through the granite pillars, parking is on your left.

DIRECTIONS TO LA BELLIEUSE AND LE DOUIT FROM THE HARBOUR

On leaving the Harbour proceed to the roundabout. Take the first left, keeping in the outside lane, proceed along the sea front keeping in the left lane. You will pass the bus terminus. Keep going straight, up the hill (Val des Terres). Turn left at the top of the hill and keep going along main road that is called Fort Road and then Sausmarez Road. At the traffic lights turn right into Routes des Camps going towards the Parish Centre – take the third right which takes you down past St. Martins Parish Church. Keep going down the hill, on the right is La Blanche Pierre Lane – La Bellieuse Cottages are on the right hand corner of this junction. For Parking and Le Douit Farm keep going around the bend, without turning into La Blanche Pierre Lane, immediately on your left is Le Douit Farm, go through the granite pillars, parking is on your left.

DIRECTIONS TO ILEX LODGE FROM THE AIRPORT

On leaving the Airport turn left, go straight ahead at the first set of lights and at the second set turn left. Follow the road through the next set of lights and straight through a small roundabout. Turn right at the next set of lights and bear left at the filter that takes you into Queens Road. Keep on this road and turn right at the next filter into Grange Road – ** turn immediately left into Brock Road, keep on this road and go straight through the next set of lights. Take the next left into Fosse Andre and at the bottom of the hill turn right into Rue Maurepas, on the next corner turn left into the driveway leading to Ilex Lodge.

or ** turn right to go down Grange Road, keep on this road until you reach the roundabout on the coast road. Turn left along the main coast road. Turn left at the next set of traffic lights into Admiral Park Continue on this road until you reach traffic lights and turn left into La Vrangue (eventually passing the main post office on your left). At the next junction left into Couture Road. At the next set of traffic lights – turn left into the Fosse Andre. Take the next left into Maurepas Road. About 50 meters on your left (on the bend) turn left onto the drive way to Ilex Lodge. (This is a long way around but is the easiest way rather than trying to negotiate small back roads)

DIRECTIONS TO ILEX LODGE FROM THE HARBOUR

On leaving the Harbour proceed to the roundabout. Take the St. Julians Avenue exit – (second – half way round) – up the hill. Go straight through the next five sets of pedestrian crossing and traffic lights. Immediately after the fifth set of lights turn right into Brock Road, keep on this road and go straight through the next set of lights. Take the next left into Fosse Andre and at the bottom of the hill turn right into Rue Maurepas, on the next corner turn left into the driveway leading to Ilex Lodge.

DIRECTIONS TO DEL MAR COURT FROM THE AIRPORT

On leaving the Airport turn left, go straight through the next two sets of traffic lights, on reaching a T junction turn right. At the next traffic lights turn left into Saumarez Road and then take the next right into Le Varclin. Keep bearing straight and go down a dip in the road, up the other side and at the top on your left is a driveway between two granite cottages where you will find Del Mar Court.

FINDING YOUR ACCOMMODATION

La Bellieuse Cottages - follow the directions above - Parking as Le Douit

Le Douit - Le Douit Nos 3 & 5 are inside the gate facing you to the left. Nos 4 & 6 are also inside the gate, round to the back of the building, to your left and up the granite steps. Please park your cars facing the granite wall in front of nos 3 & 5. There is also one parking space at the bottom of the steps to no 4 & 6. Go straight to your accommodation - the door will be open and the key inside. The Housekeeper who lives in Le Douit Cottage to the right of the main granite gateway will leave a notice board ouside her front door which will show if your cottage or apartment is ready for you.

Ilex Lodge - follow the directions above - Parking is to the side of the Housekeepers house. The Housekeeper leaves a notice board outside her front door which will show if your apartment is ready for you. The door will be left open and the key will be inside so go straight to your apartment if it is ready.

Del Mar Court - follow the directions above - Parking can be found on three sides of the property. Del Mar Court has a notice board in the lobby area which will show if your apartment is ready for you. The door will be left open and the key will be inside so go straight to your apartment if it is ready.

NEAREST SHOPS

There are late opening convenience shops close to all properties and also one close to the Airport. Airport - coming out of the airport turn right and a approx. 200m on the left side of the road is a CO-OP (Foret en Route) Petrol available and shop behind - open until 10.30 every day of the week.

Del Mar Court - from Del Mar Court turn right up the lane to the main road - turn left to the traffic lights. Straight in front of you is a small super market called Iceland. Turn right at the traffic lights and on your left after the Queen's Hotel is a Co-op. If you carry on that main road, going through the Parish Centre, without turning off you will find an M & S Food Store on your right. In between the Co-op and M & S on your right is a petrol station with a small convenience store (later opening).

La Bellieuse & Le Douit - go up the lane, past St. Martins Church, to the main road - turn right for M & S or turn left for the Co-op which is on your right. Go as far as the traffic lights and turn right for Iceland. Before the Co-op is a petrol station on your left with a small convenience store.

Ilex Lodge - if walking, there is a pedestrian gate at the back of Ilex Lodge which takes you to the main road, turn left and then right at the traffic lights, about 100m on your right is a small late opening shop. By car - leaving Ilex, go up the one way road and straight through the next junction. At the bottom of the hill turn right, about 50m on your right is a Co-op. If you go past the Co-op to the main road turn left and keep going and turn left at the next set of traffic lights, on your left you will see signs for B & Q and Admiral Park Waitrose. You can also go right at the top of the one way road from Ilex. Turn into the next right, as though going back to Ilex but do not turn off and go straight through the traffic lights. Next set of traffic lights turn right, you will see the signs for Waitrose which is approx 100m on your right.
