Ilex Lodge apartments provide you with all you need for a quiet break or family holiday during the school holidays. A program to extend and refurbish the apartments over this and last winter now give 2 bedroom/2 bathroom accommodation. To the south, which receives the sun from early until late, is the heated swimming pool (salt water chlorinated - open during the summer months) and lawn with sunbeds and picnic tables. There is also a BBQ area (for disposable bbq use) and waiting and information area. To the back of the apartments is a large grassed lawn with a childrens play area.
Ilex Lodge is situated in the Parish of St. Peter Port, inland from the busy town centre and harbour area. Tucked away behind residential properties in its own grounds with parking it gives a peaceful and tranquil setting for your holiday. Ilex is surrounded on three sides by lawns.

Five minutes walk from Ilex Lodge is Cambridge Park and the Beau Sejour Sports and Leisure Centre with it's indoor heated swimming pools and facilities for all sports: roller skating, outdoor bowls, squash, badminton, table tennis, hard court tennis, etc, also saunas, solarium, swings, roundabout, slides, children's playground etc. The shops and harbour of the St. Peter Port town centre are approximately fifteen minutes walk away and a late night shopper only a few minutes walk away. If you like good food St. Peter Port has a large number of restaurants that offer varied and excellent cuisine. Buses go to the town centre in one direction and in the other to the popular west coast bays of Cobo, Saline and Grandes Rocques with their fine sand, rocks to climb and pools to explore.

Overview - Ilex Lodge remains peacefully and conveniently located, set in a chiefly residential area, within easy walking distance of all local amenities. All apartments have access to the heated, 'salt water chlorinated' swimming pool. The re-landscaping programme is reaching completion. A major refurbishment programme has been completed this winter, enlarging apartments 1,2,3,4,5& 6. Totally transforming the appearance of the property; a new, stunning terrace has been created with new outside furniture. The enlargement has allowed for extra easy seating (generic sofas), to be used in the liviing space and the creation of en-suite shower facilites in the front (double) bedrooms. All the enlarged apartments are newly furnished/decorated/floored throughout. New double glazed both at the front and the rear, new pressurised hot water system and new lighting has been fitted. Larger flat screen TV's have been sourced and fitted.
After this assessment apartments 7 - 10 retain their previously held Four Star (Self Catering) rating for the following year. Positioned qualitively toward the higher end of the Four Star rating band.
Apartments 1 - 6 retain a fully consolidated Four Star (self-catering) rating. It is also pleasing to report a Gold Accolade will be awarded recognising the exceptional quality displayed within the Four Star rating band.

Each apartment has a lounge/diner with TV & DVD, 2 bedrooms with oak furniture giving 1 x twin bedroom and 1 x double with kingsize 5' bed (152cm) with en suite shower room, a family bathroom with bath and separate shower and a fully equipped kitchen with full size oven, grill and four hobs. Fridge with icebox. Microwave, toaster, cafetierre plus all crockery, cutlery and pots and pans. DISABILITY ACCESS - We have no specific disabled facilities, but we do have properties which are on the ground floor. Ilex Lodge is not suitable for anyone confined to a wheelchair due to manoeuvrability within the apartment, however all the ground floor apartments can be accessed by paved paths giving easy one level access to these apartments. There is one step into the apartment and once in all on one level. There is a separate shower which has a step up into the shower tray. We would not advise the use of a wheelchair within the apartment. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding the suitability of the apartments for your needs.

Electricity, central heating and WIFI are included in the above rates. Central Heating is not provided in the summer months although electric convector heaters are supplied for your comfort.

CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT - One third of accommodation cost on booking
BALANCE - Due two months prior to arrival and only refundable, less any charges incurred, if whole period is re-let.
CANCELLATION: The payment of a deposit denotes a contract and guests are advised to insure against the possibility of cancellation; if this does occur and the balance payment is due the amount outstanding must be paid in full.
No responsibility can be accepted for injury, or loss of personal effects, while on the premises.
We strongly advise you to take out insurance - Travel Insurance and Healthcare in the Channel Islands
Reciprocal healthcare between the Channel Islands and UK has been dissolved. Anyone travelling to the Islands, which include Guernsey, Jersey, Alderney, Sark and Herm, will be required to pay for medical treatment should they become ill or injured there after this date. Visitors should therefore take out adequate insurance before they travel and the policy should include cover for emergency medical expenses plus repatriation in order that all treatment costs can be claimed. Please note that the European health Insurance card does not extend to include the Channel Islands.
On payment of the deposit you accept the Terms of Booking as detailed below -
NO SMOKING POLICY - We have a strict no smoking policy inside the apartments. If it is noticed that someone is smoking inside the property the guest will be asked to leave immediately with no refund to their booking charge. A charge will be made if extra Housekeeping is required to eradicate the smell of smoke.
Loss of Apartment Key - A £20 charge will be made for loss or non return of key and key fob.
Anyone causing disturbance to other guests will be asked to leave immediately. Damage to the property will be charged at cost.
We ask that you leave the accommodation as you found it. We allocate a set time to service between each guest and if extra Housekeeping is required a charge will be made @ £13 per hour.
Any charges incurred due to damage or extra Housekeeping will be taken automatically from the card used to pay for your accommodation if payment is not settled before departure.
